Disability Resources requests assistance with final exams |
Each semester, Disability Resources (DR) supports disabled students and their faculty by proctoring accommodated exams. In order to address the increased volume during Finals Week, DR relies on volunteers. The support from the division is critical to this endeavor and supervisors are encouraged to offer staff reasonable flexibility to assist in this capacity. Individuals can use the DR Proctoring Volunteers link to sign up. For more information or questions, call 314-935-7998 or email Disability Resources directly.

WashU career communities help students find their future |
The Center for Career Engagement (CCE) launched its career communities program three years ago, organizing communities around fields like art, design and media; health care and sciences; and technology, data and engineering. Led by certified career coaches, the communities help students identify their purpose — or as CCE staff say, “their why” — and discover the broad spectrum of jobs that match their priorities.

Encourage students to enroll in Career Exploration at WashU |
Career Exploration at WashU: Understand Yourself & Envision Possibilities is a class all about students. It will help them understand their interests, values and strengths as they relate to their course of study, college experiences, and the world of work beyond.
Students will learn about and use resources at the Center for Career Engagement, read and reflect on writings by thought leaders, learn how to do informational interviews, and research occupational options online. Students will earn credit to take important steps forward with support from career coaches. Fantastic for sophomores, but open to undergrads from all schools. See the course listing.
