Soft Launch

Hot Plate Brewing Co., a Latina-owned business based in downtown Pittsfield, will celebrate its soft launch by offering six beers on tap and more to follow over the coming weeks. In addition to their own craft beers, the company will be offering non-alcoholic beers, wine, cider, hard seltzers, soft drinks, as well as light snacks and small plates. Read more

Broadway en Spanglish

Husband-and-wife duo Jaime Lozano and Florencia Cuenca create Mexican musical magic on Broadway en Spanglish. With live accompaniment from the renowned mariachi ensemble Mariachi Real De Mexico de Ramon Ponce, they deliver fresh interpretations of some of musical theater’s most iconic tunes with new arrangements by Lozano. More info

Eryca is not only a standup comedian, but the producer of Project Herlarious—a comedy series that spotlights women in comedy. A single-mom-turned-comedian, Eryca considers herself "funny as a mother." It's Black History Month, and the history of the Berkshires is abundant with locations that highlight our African American heritage. Berkshire Magazine released last year a compilation of sites that garner significance to the past and present experiences of Black people in the Berkshires. Hockey Classic

There is a new date and location for the Berkshire Pond Hockey Classic. It will be on Saturday, February 11, at Benedict Pond's Boat Ramp in Beartown State Forest in Monterey. This free event includes a warming tent featuring hot food and drinks for purchase. More info
