Gaels Giving Day 2025 Brings Iona University to Over $1.8 million in Annual Support |
The Iona community once again came together on March 17 to celebrate Gaels Giving Day, Iona University’s annual day of giving, a 24-hour campaign which encourages philanthropic support of gifts of any size to any available designation. The campaign was a notable success in annual support, in which 2,446 donors this year have given $1.8 million for the Fund for Iona, or to support athletics, scholarships and other important programs. The 24-hour period saw 658 donors give $324,997 for our biggest surge of the year.

Iona Rowing: Boat Dedication & Christening
|
The Iona University Rowing program, alongside Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence '77, '81MBA and Marilyn Musial Trainor '85, '94MBA, recently hosted the Christening of the Robert J. Musial Shell at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle, NY. Thanks to the generous support of Larry and Marilyn, the rowing program was able to acquire a new, sate-of-the-art 8-person shell, enhancing opportunities for both the men’s and women’s teams.

The New Rochelle Veterans Advisory Committee is proudly organizing banners to display in honor of New Rochelle hometown military men and women service members. The banners will include the veteran’s picture, name, branch, and date of service. These banners will be displayed on Main St. light poles, between Echo Ave. and Stephenson Blvd.
