Member Memo - March 24, 2020

A little office update - we are closed. We assume we'll be out for a month or more. I'm working from home, Debbie is working in her garden and Emily will be working when we open back up.   Hang in there -

Are You...Out of Office?

When I send out a big group email to all of our winery members, I only get one auto-response saying what is happening at that winery. If the rest of you are closed, but doing shipping or curbside pick up, you should have that as an auto-response. If your customers are reaching out via email, let them know what to expect. Our Wine Road voice mail says the office is closed to please email infoF@wineroad.com and that the voice mail will only be checked periodically.

Trophy Time...

I thought you'd like some fun news.
During the first weekend of Barrel Tasting, I made it out to J. Rickards Winery to deliver the trophy for the BEST DECOR for Winter Wineland.
Congratulations team J. Rickards!
This year they had a super cute Roaring 20's theme for the event weekend. It sounds like they're still finding feathers from their boas :-)

Content for Podcast

We are going to try and post a new podcast 1-2 times a week, but we need content. We want to tell listeners what's happening at the wineries. What are you working on, what's happening NOW in the vineyard? Shoot me an email with some specific details and I will talk about it - mention you and your winery, encourage listeners to check out your website etc. Help us - help you.   beth@wineroad.com

#SipSonoma $5 Shipping

We continue to encourage folks to order wine, though it is not clear how much longer you will be able to fulfill orders. We're promoting a $5 shipping offer, using the promo code SipSonoma.
We are also asking folks to just share photos of their Sonoma County wines, while they're at home..sipping Sonoma.  This promotion will be going out via an email blast to SF Gate subscribers.
You can share the link to the webpage AND the video
