Weekend Shuttle Service and On-Campus Parking
The winter storm watch is in effect from 10 p.m. Saturday (2/8) through Sunday (2/9) and will impact campus shuttle services and on-campus parking. Parking bans in the cities of Boston, Medford, and Somerville may also be in effect. Please avoid travel during this time if possible.
Shuttle Service
The Davis Square and SMFA shuttles will have a delayed start on Sunday and will begin at noon. Visit Shuttles & Sharing Services for the latest shuttle schedules. If you need to travel between the two campuses before noon on Sunday, please check the MBTA train and bus schedules for hours of operation.
Parking Ban
A snow emergency parking ban will be in effect on the Medford/Somerville campus from 11:30 p.m. on Saturday until 5 p.m. on Sunday. If you park on the Medford/Somerville campus, please ensure your vehicle is not parked in any surface lot or on-street parking space during the ban to allow Facilities Services to clear snow. Vehicles left on surface parking lots and on street campus parking spaces are subject to ticketing and towing at the vehicle owner’s expense. During these hours, you may park in the Dowling Garage or Lower Campus Garage. Parking permits are still required during parking bans.
