Should You Follow the Yellow Page Road?

For the past seven years we've had numerous business leaders ask whether the print Yellow Pages should still be a part of their directory advertising tactics. While our answer is still “yes” if they are pursuing a very mature demographic with traditional media habits, for the majority of our clients, the answer is “no”.
North American studies reflect our changing times. The local Yellow Pages Directory no longer occupies the monopolistic media status (in print, online and mobile versions) that it once did. In many markets, the once traditional fall door-to-door directory delivery will become an elective delivery option this fall.
So what caused this Yellow Tornado of doom?
