With the busy month of September behind us, I hope your student has the chance to relax and recharge. Next week kicks off THRiVE Week, a celebration of the many resources OHIO offers to help students be their best selves. It's a great time for your student to take a break from studying and explore new tools like the Well-Being Wing, which will have its grand opening October 9.
We also want to remind you of the basic needs resources available to all students, including housing assistance, food support, and emergency microgrants. Whatever your student needs for a successful semester, we’re here to help them get there.

College life can be busy and stressful. We know it’s important to prioritize and support well-being. Students can join their fellow Bobcats in celebrating THRiVE Week beginning October 7. They can attend Yoga on the Greens, try out lightbox or music therapy, attend the grand opening of the Well-Being Wing in Ping Recreation Center (starting at 1 p.m. October 9), snag free swag and samples, and many more events all over campus.

Students with a meal plan can donate unused meal swipes October 6-12 to the Meal Bank, which helps support students who are members of the Cats' Cupboard food pantry. To donate, students can tell the cashier at the dining hall that they would like to donate unused swipes. If students are in need of some extra resources, they can find out more about the Meal Bank and sign up to be a member of the pantry.
