PianoSummer at New Paltz
PIANOSUMMER AT NEW PALTZ
JULY 8-26, 2024
Vladimir Feltsman

"With more than 1,000 students attending our program since its inception 30 years ago, PianoSummer offers a wide range of opportunities, including student recitals, master classes, the Jacob Flier Piano Competition and three festival concerts."
VLADIMIR FELTSMAN, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
PianoSummer is an international summer program at SUNY New Paltz dedicated solely to piano music. It features an integrated approach to learning and performance under the artistic direction of master pianist and teacher Vladimir Feltsman. Gifted students from around the world study with outstanding faculty and guest artists to learn more about the art of the piano and, ultimately, more about themselves and their place in the world of music.
PianoSummer students are not charged tuition and are provided with free housing, which affirms our belief that the ability to play, and not the ability to pay, should be the only criteria for our musicians.
