Pirate Tip of the Week: Make Time for Self-Care đ€
|
Taking care of yourself is an important part of staying balanced and successfulâespecially during a busy semester. A few small habits can make a big difference.
|
-
Use campus support resources: Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), Uwill, KNOW MORE, and Health Services are here to support your mental and physical well-being.
- Move your body: Visit the Rec Center for a workout, group fitness class, or just time to decompress.
-
Pause and reset: Find a quiet space to breathe, reflect, or unplugâWellness Room, Â Campus Inclusion & Community Center, or Campus Ministry and other campus spaces offer moments for calm and reflection.
- Stay connected: Reach out to a friend, classmate, or organizationâconnection is a powerful form of self-care.
|
Challenge:Â Schedule one intentional break on your calendar and treat it as a non-negotiable time for yourself.

If you feel overwhelmed and stressed, make sure you eat and sleep first. You must take care of yourself before you can successfully tackle anything else. "You can't pour from an empty cup".
|
The mission of the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) is to be a partner in providing experiential opportunities for students to grow and develop through co-curricular learning. Keeping the care of the whole person and the values of Seton Hall at the forefront, the student engagement team seeks to empower, challenge, and inspire students to be servant leaders in a global society.
