Join Our America/Whose America? co-curators Leslie Ferrin and Lauren Levato Coyne for a closing reception and casual conversation with British artist Paul Scott, one of the 23 artists in the exhibition at Ferrin Contemporary. Paul's travel to the United States coincides with his solo exhibition featuring the latest iteration of his work, New American Scenery, now on view at the Albany Institute of History & Art. More info

Film Screening

The Lenox Library is partnering with Church on the Hill for a free screening of Hello, Bookstore. A Q&A with Matthew Tannenbaum of The Bookstore will follow. This event will take place at the Church on the Hill meetinghouse in Lenox. The documentary film celebrates the town’s landmark bookstore and chronicles how the community rallied to protect it in its hour of need. More info

Close Encounters With Music opens its 31st season at the Mahaiwe with the world premiere of Tamar Muskal's "One World" and Schubert’s heavenly String Quintet in C Major. Performing will be Borromeo String Quartet (pictured here); Yehuda Hanani, cello; Avirodh Sharma, tabla; Christylez Bacon, beatbox artist; Tianhui Ng, conductor; Rachel Feldman, choral director; and Mount Holyoke College Chamber Singers. Arts & Crafts Festival

Berkshire South Regional Community Center will host its Fall Arts & Crafts Festival in Great Barrington. The pre-holiday market features Berkshires-based jewelers, potters, weavers, blacksmiths, woodworkers, and more.
