IMPORTANT: Changes to the Spring Calendar

After considering concerns conveyed to us by faculty and parents regarding COVID-19, the physical and mental health of our students, and the changes to the University calendar, we have decided to make two changes to our Spring Calendar. Christmas Break will be one week longer and Spring Break will be one week shorter. We believe this will promote greater health on campus without a major loss of academic progress that an even longer Christmas Break might precipitate.

If you have questions about this or other health precautions being taken on the SAS campus, please contact our Health Clinic.

Need MAC for Winter Season?

On  November 2 our fall season officially ends and students begin their winter Afternoon Programs. If your Middle School student does not participate in Afternoon Programs or has an Afternoon Program that does not meet every day, MAC (Middle School After Care) is available for supervision. We have numerous enrollment options and flexibiliy to meet your needs, including a drop-in service for days when unexpected scheduling prohibits pick-up at the regular dismissal time. Middle school students must be in an Afternoon Program, attending MAC, or picked up by 3:30 each afternoon.  Register here. Questions? Contact Lizzie Duncan.

Thank You!

Thanks to parents David Michaels and Jeff Frazier for their help in building Eli's Chill.

Let Us Help to Remember Someone

During chapel on Wednesday October 28, we will be celebrating All Saints' and All Souls' Day.This day is set aside to thank God for all those we love who have died, and to pray for their peace. To mark this day, we will be reading a list of names of people who have died in the last year. If you would like to have a friend or loved ones' name read in the prayers, please email the name to Mother Short.
