Madison Outdoor Living Rooms with Artist Matthew Mazzotta

Mazzotta's residency will begin with a series of community engagement events called “Outdoor Living Rooms”scheduled for the weekend of June 16 + 17.

As the name suggests, these “living rooms” are whimsical arrangements of odd furniture, set up in an unexpected location and serving as a temporary meeting space where neighbors can gather to share insight about their community with the artist. Mazzotta uses the community feedback he collects to influence the design of the future public artwork.

The Outdoor Living Rooms intend to reach Madison residents and other stakeholders directly invested in this specific community.  If you are a Madison resident or business owner and would like to attend one of the events on June 16 or 17, please contact Van.Maravalli@nashville.gov for more details.
