| "I was initially drawn to Iona University because of the school’s outstanding academic program for my major.
I am currently undertaking an internship with Operation Smile on campus, an
organization that offers opportunities for students to get involved in the fight against cleft lip and cleft palate around the world. I also work as a newborn hearing screening technician at NewYorkPresbyterian Westchester. It’s an incredible experience, and it reinforces my belief that I am on the right career path.
My decision to attend the University has been completely reinforced, thanks to the welcoming and supportive community of my professors and peers."
