Did you know these fun facts about the Director of ISSS?

• My first trip abroad was to southern Germany with the Xavier University Concert Choir the summer after my freshman year of college.
• My favorite tea is Da Hong Pao (“big red robe”), a dark oolong tea from Fujian Province in China–I drink it almost every day.
• I have traveled to at least 10 different cities in mainland China and my favorite is Xi’an–I love the food there!
• I met my husband when we were both working at bookstore in Cincinnati 19 years ago.
• Our daughter is named after the main character in one of our favorite books (I Capture the Castle).
• I came to Miami University for a summer camp in 6th grade and the main thing I remember is that we were instructed not to step foot on the grass! I still feel really guilty whenever I walk across the grass on campus.

Study in the Heart of Europe this Spring Semester!

• A day in the life: For a glimpse at a typical day in Luxembourg in our beautiful château, check out the brand new Student Life video.
• Choose your own adventure: Classes are Monday through Thursday and Luxembourg is a 3 hour train ride from 5 countries. Discovery tours on Fridays (at no cost!) take you to neighboring countries such as Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and France.
• A cost-effective option: Tuition and fees are comparable to a semester in Oxford. For sophomores, there are even further savings on room and board. Scholarships from Miami as well as local, state, and national organizations are available based on both need and merit.
