Washington Office hosts Irish Coffee networking social |

Notre Dame opens new Wideband Test Facility |
Notre Dame’s new Wideband Test Facility, the latest addition to its microelectronics campus, will provide unmatched testing capabilities for ultra-high frequency bands essential to developing next-generation wireless commercial and defense systems. South Bend’s representative in Congress, Rep. Rudy Yakym (ND MBA '19), joined the opening.

Rep. Frank Mrvan, who represents Indiana's 1st Congressional District, met with students for a moderated conversation co-hosted by the Hesburgh Program in Public Service and Notre Dame Student Government. He shared his path to public service, legislative priorities, and insights on working across the aisle with students interested in public policy.

Notre Dame Democracy Initiative hosts bipartisan conversation with Western state governors |
Democratic Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico and Republican Governor Spencer Cox of Utah joined Notre Dame’s Democracy Initiative for a fireside chat, moderated by University President Father Bob Dowd. In a timely and powerful conversation, the governors discussed the importance of bipartisanship in overcoming polarization and political violence.

ND expands partnership to empower servicemember spouses |
Building on their partnership to strengthen military families, Notre Dame and the Military Spouse Advocacy Network launched a second course focused on ethical leadership and equipping military spouses with tools to become resilient leaders. Spearheaded by the Washington Office's Jill Pentimonti, the Notre Dame-MSAN collaboration began last fall and was inspired by MSAN Board Advisor Christine Grady, wife of Admiral Chris Grady (ND '84), former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

October 25: 2025 Universal Notre Dame Celebration | Featuring Admiral Christopher Grady and Ken Heckel |
The Notre Dame Club of Washington DC is hosting its annual UND Celebration next Saturday, October 25, from 5:00-8:00PM at the ND Washington Office. What began in 1924 as an annual radio broadcast has since evolved into the flagship event of the Notre Dame Alumni Association. This special celebration will feature ADM Christopher Grady ‘84, former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in conversation with Ken Heckel ‘96, Notre Dame’s Director of Military and Veterans Affairs.
