Dear Supporter of Quality Educator Preparation,
CAEP’s mission is to advance excellence in educator preparation through evidence-based accreditation that assures quality and supports continuous improvement to strengthen P-12 student learning. To achieve our mission, CAEP relies heavily on a community of dedicated professionals, deeply committed to ensuring – through many aspects of the accreditation process – that providers are preparing effective, high quality educators.
CAEP is the single accrediting body for educator preparation, serving educator preparation providers previously accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC).
We are seeking professionals, from across the education field that not only reflect the diversity of our country’s P-12 learners, but are also inclusive of affiliation and experiences, to serve in every area of our organization.
*NOTE: at this time CAEP is not soliciting volunteers for governance committees. Governance volunteers will be solicited during the 2017 Call for Service
