Another year. Another graduation.Same feelings of pride. 

In my 25 year career in Higher Education, Spring commencement is always a mixed bag of emotions. We close out another great year of programs and services for our students, but we also say farewell to another class of graduates ready to take on the world and make it a better place for all of us.

    This year was no exception, we graduated over 1,800 students during two commencement ceremonies and I had my fair share of moments. I was able to see some of our great students cross the stage and become alumni of Indiana State University. I was excited, hopeful, and sad at the same time. These students are fantastic and have left a mark on this campus. I will miss them and their spirit and love for Indiana State.

    This summer, I hope that everyone will take some time and recharge their batteries, enjoy the sunshine, spend time with family and friends, and get ready to usher in another class of Sycamores in August.
