SCHULICH ALUMNI NEWSLETTER
November 2024
| |
| Dear Schulich Community,
As we step into November, we have a big day coming up! Thursday, November 14th marks Schulich’s 5th Giving Day—a day when our collective support can make a transformative impact.
This year, I have the privilege of serving as Honorary Chair, and we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $300,000. Last year, we achieved 145% of our target, raising over $291,000 through the incredible generosity of 422 donors. I am confident that with your participation, we can build on this momentum to make this the most successful Giving Day yet.
This year, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Peter MacKenzie (MBA ’86) and Kate Zeidler, Marti Morfitt (MBA ’86), Eric Rawlinson (MBA ’84), Michael Bigger (MBA ’92), and the Svec Estate, every dollar you give on Schulich Giving Day will be matched, up to $150,000. This means your gift will have double the impact! Click here to know more about our Giving Day campaign.
Looking back on October, we have much to celebrate. From the joy of welcoming over 500 new alumni at our Fall Convocation 2024 to the tremendous energy at the 11th Annual Kellogg-Schulich EMBA Gala. We also proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of four alumni at the 2024 Alumni Recognition Awards.
Thank you for being a cornerstone of our community. With Giving Day just around the corner, I encourage each of you to join us in making this day one of true impact and unity.
Warm regards,
Pam Laycock (MBA ’89)
President, Schulich Global Alumni Network
