Action News Jax will hand out free ISO-approved solar eclipse glasses at the event. Physics students and faculty will have solar telescopes for viewing and fun activities for kids and families. Please bring chairs or blankets to sit on.

As a child, Amy Neftzger (’89) was destined to be a jack of all trades. Whether it was entering writing contests or following her grandfather’s musical footsteps, she balanced multiple hobbies at once.
In 2021, she was promoted to her current position of senior director of advanced research and analytics for UnitedHealth Group, where she manages analytic teams to improve the healthcare experience for special needs and high-risk populations.
She authored numerous educational publications and wrote fiction with her novel “The Ferryman” and short stories including “Confessions From a Moving Van.” She also writes stories for children, having finished three volumes in “The Kingdom Wars” series and illustrated "All That The Dog Ever Wanted." For many, tax season can be a nightmare. That’s a fact alumnus Aaron Rosenthal ('02) knows all too well.
Co-founder and director of marketing for the online tax preparation company E-file.com, Rosenthal strives to remove as much of the anxiety and stress from the tax-filing process as possible.
Rosenthal co-founded E-file.com with fellow alumnus Robert Reynard ('13) because of his own frustration with other online tax preparation companies.
While his company is similar to other online tax-filing programs, Rosenthal said that cost is one factor that sets E-file.com apart from its competition. Learn more.

Jones, who currently serves as the vice president of public relations and marketing communications at Georgia State University (GSU), has more than 15 years of experience in higher education.
