Happy March Rockers!

 We had a blast last month with shows, weekly lessons and rehearsals!

Our Fall Season Shows Were AMAZING!

What a great season and set of shows!  We hope you got to see these young musicians do their thing!  There is nothing like live performances and it's very inspiring for us as staff to see our students step up and do more and more each season.  
To our first time show students- GREAT JOB!  And to our seasoned pros, you showed us how it's done.

Student Spotlight - Meet Ilan!
What’s your favorite thing to do at SOR? Too many good things, I look forward to playing in the band.
What do you like best about SOR? I've learned about timbre, melody, beats, rhythm, and learning about all kinds of music.
What advice would you give to a new student?  I'd tell them to just stick with it because it's gonna end up being really awesome. Playing instruments is a lot fun.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 5 FAVORITE BANDS? Portgual The Man, Nirvana, Europe, Fitz and The Tantrums, Prince.
If you could play in any band what band would it be?
Probably Portugal the Man because I know "Feel it Still" really well.

We are kicking off both our summer and year around internships NOW!  Being a School of Rock Intern is fun, challenging and helps you grow in so many ways including developing leadership skills, honing your musical chops and getting that job reference in place for when you go to get that first job in the real world.

We rock our regular programs all year long, including summertime, but you can GET MORE ROCK! Our Summer Camp Enrollment Season is underway! Camps start the week of June 25th and wrap up the week of August 6th. 5 WEEKS OF ROCK! Camps fill up fast, so make sure to claim your spot NOW!
