UT Leads Clean Energy Collaboration Between Japan and the United States
|
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville will lead a collaboration between Japan and the U.S. in an academic interdisciplinary platform called the U.S. – Japan Exchange Program for Green Growth Collaboration through Clean Energy Technologies (EXCET).
EXCET will encourage communication and collaboration with researchers on the issues of renewable energy, green energy, and environmental and energy justice issues. EXCET will also make policy recommendations and identify concrete strategies to promote sustainable, economic, and social development in Japan and the US.

RCR Ambassadors for Research Security Announced

The Office of Research, Impact and Economic Development is delighted to announce the selection of UT’s Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Ambassadors for Research Security. The RCR Research Security Ambassadors will help the university develop a comprehensive Research Security Program.

Recently, the Division of Research Administration (DRA) has reported that more sponsors require the university—and increasingly, the individual—to agree to terms and conditions at the time of proposal submission. While this has become common practice among industry sponsors, now some federal sponsors, like the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy, have begun to join them. As research administration continues to increase in complexity, DRA’s experienced team is available to help you understand and navigate complex scenarios
