An Action-Packed Month!

Friends,
We have had an action-packed month of ministry. Between the NWA Gives campaign, Wing-a-thon, New Leader Placement and Senior Celebration, clubs, campaigners, camp sign-ups, and Capernaum Talent Show, we are packing in just about as much activity into the end of the semester as we can! Just look below for the details!

NWA Gives

Thanks to some incredible donors, we were able to DOUBLE our NWA Gives goal of $3,000 - and raised a total of $6,234! Thank you for supporting us!

If you missed the posts on Facebook and Instagram, you can follow us at the links below and catch up on the content from the day. We shared some very compelling stories from leaders and kids!
Summer Camp is OFFICIALLY ON!
Our high school and Capernaum friends are headed to camp this summer!! We are going to Clearwater Cove in Lampe, Missouri from July 3-7! We are so excited that this will be an inclusion camp, meaning that our friends with disabilities will be joining the same trip as our high schoolers! To sign-up your kids, visit nwarkansas.younglife.org and click on the Camp tab!

Wing-a-thon Fundraiser

Our 1st Annual Wing-a-thon was so much fun for kids and leaders! We were able to raise over $1,500 to help with the cost of camp this summer!

If you would like to make a gift to help provide a scholarship for camp, you can donate at giving.younglife.org/uarkcamp.

Leader Placement Night/Senior Celebration

A couple of weeks ago, we held our Spring Leader Placement Night where we got to place 14 new leaders on 9 different teams and commission them for their time of service here in NWA!

We also celebrated our 30 graduating seniors - yes, THIRTY! And we gave out the Alyssa Walden Award to an incredible leader who has faithfully served for 4 years and made such a lasting impact on this community - the award went to Emma Carr, a Team Leader for our Capernaum team.

Capernaum Talent Show

Our Capernaum friends had a great time showcasing their amazing talents earlier this month! The evening was filled with much joy, aughter and fun for all of our friends, their parents, and other family members who came to show their support.

Plus, we SOLD OUT of in-person tickets and raised over $4,000! Between that and some other fundraisers, we are able to bring any Capernaum friend who wants to come to camp this summer for only $100!

THANK YOU for being an answer to our daily prayer of Matthew 9:38 - that the Lord would send out laborers into the harvest field. We are to thankful to be able to count on you to pray for us and cheer us on as we seek to bring the Gospel to the next generation in NWA!
On a personal note, Gregg and I head out to Fayetteville, NC to visit our son, Rob, who is stationed at Fort Bragg, for Mother's Day Weekend. We haven't seen him since August, so I'm really looking forward to it! For all of you who are moms--I wish you a Happy Mother's Day!
God's Best to you!
