Dear Student Success colleagues,
It was great seeing you all at Professional Development Day 2026. I heard from so many of you how energizing it was to learn from colleagues and deepen connections across teams in order to strengthen the impact of our work.
I appreciate your hard work in planning for the year ahead and also encourage you to make time (as you are able) to rest and recharge.
As you plan for the year ahead, please note these important reminders:
|
- Incoming students and their families are already looking for the information they need to matriculate and move-in. Please take the time to make sure your web pages are up to date. Work with your department’s MarComm contacts if you need assistance.
-
You will be receiving more information soon regarding the division name and what needs to be updated before the beginning of the academic year. If you have questions, please reach out to MarComm.
- Mark your calendar to save the date for the Division of Student Success Kick Off August 3. More information will be forthcoming.
|
Please have a safe and happy summer. I look forward to seeing everyone back in August.
Warmly,
|
Anna "Dr. G" Gonzalez
Vice Chancellor for Student Success

Ensure your website is updated and accurate for incoming students and families
|
It's that time of year when incoming students and their families are going to our websites for all the information they need to matriculate and move in. We cannot stress enough how important it is to make sure that the web pages you manage are up-to-date and accurate by doing the following:
|
- Remove any dates and deadlines referring to past events and programs.
- Add new dates and programs for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Add current news and announcements with a focus on incoming students.
- Promote summer and fall programs, particularly those of interest for anyone new to WashU.
- Promote any announcements or important action items for students and families.
-
Click all links to be certain they are working correctly.

More details and specific prompts will be sent through the Student Success Communications Team's channel. For assistance with any content edits on your site, please reach out to your respective Marketing & Communications contact.
