LRF FINISHES 2ND IN DEL MAR STANDINGS
If only EVERY meet could be like this!?!?  With 4 wins from just 10 starts (40%), LRF capped off the first ever Del Mar Bring Crosby fall meet with one of its best runs in its 12 year history.  Out of over 500 owners, LRF finished 2nd to Rockingham Ranch (6 wins) in the owner standings. Victories by Unusual Taste, Jomelo and two 2yo fillies, High Profit and Midnight Miley, gave LRF partners reason to believe the best is yet to come. "This month was a great tribute to the hard work put in by our trainers and our equine athletes," said LRF Managing partner Gary Fenton. "I'm happy we could deliver for so many of our partners."
 LRF PURCHASES CHAULK O LATTEY
Chaulk O Lattey was added to the LRF barn over the Thanksgiving holiday when the unraced 3yo CA bred filly was purchased privately from Nadine Adnerson and Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms.  "We are thrilled to add another top California bred prospect to the stable" said LRF Managing Partner Billy Koch. "Trainer Richie Baltas approached us to buy up to 50%, with the owners staying in, and I believed this filly provides an excellent opportunity for our partners.  Plus, we've always wanted to work with Richie, one of the sharpest trainers in the game."  Shares in the filly are almost sold out. DEL MAR FALL = HUGE SUCCESS
Del Mar's first ever Bing Crosby Fall meet was a resounding success. Over 22,000 fans came out to watch California Chrome win the GI Hollywood Derby over the weekend and all-source handle was up considerably to corresponding Hollywood Park dates last year.  Not only was the weather incredible, but the real story was the excitement in and around the track for all fifteen racing days. The average daily attendance was greater than every meet (yes, even Santa Anita) in California in 2014 except, of course its own summer meet.  November proved Del Mar is not a boutique meet, but a great place to race all year round.
YA YA GIRL WORKS TOWARDS DEBUT
Ya Ya Girl (left above) is in California and currently breezing towards her debut for trainer Pete Eurton. This weekend, Ya Ya girl will step up to a half mile and she has impressed Eurton thus far. "She's done everything right," Eurton told us. "In fact, her last work (3F in :36 and change) might have been too fast!" A daughter of GI winner Leroisdesanimaux, Ya Ya is on track to make her debut at the start of Santa Anita in 2015. Looking for quality two-year-old who may run in less than 45 days... she's right up your alley.
