Come out to the Embassy of Italy on March 20, 2019 and celebrate Women Who Jazz with us from 6:00-8:00 PM!
The Italian Cultural Institute's Women Who Jazz series continues with one of Italy’s youngest conductors but also a pianist and a composer, Federica Fornabaio, presenting her latest project in duo with acclaimed trumpeter Angelo Olivieri.

The concert will see a ‘contamination’ of contemporary classical music, film soundtracks and jazz, taking inspiration from Federica’s own compositions as well as the standards that influenced her artistic discourse. This is how Ryuichi Sakamoto and Nino Rota, Erik Satie and Bix Beiderbeche can be part of the same evening, rearranged and revisited in Fornabaio’s unique style.

Helping her bringing on stage such an eclectic mix, the warm round tone of Angelo Olivieri’s trumpet, considered amongst the best European jazz trumpeters according to Top Jazz.
This concert is FREE but registration is required. Registration is accepted through the Eventbrite page so Click HERE. The promotional code is WPFW.
The Italian Cultural Institute is located at Embassy of Italy
