Celebrate the Leading Chapter Schools!
|
Each year, the top high school chapter in accumulated members and degrees in each district receives the Leading Chapter Award. The winning school's total returns to zero and it begins a new record. Leading Chapter Awards will be shipped to district chairs to be awarded as part of the district tournament series and the coaches and administrators at winning schools will receive a letter of recognition. Congratulations to the 2022-2023 Leading Chapters!

The next issue of Rostrum will center on gratitude and celebrating unsung heroes who support speech and debate. This could mean parents, donors, administrators, custodial staff, or other behind-the-scenes supporters who go above and beyond in your area. Our Springboard Series offers four free, online practice rounds per month. They take place after school at 6:00 p.m. CT with live judges and ballots. Thanks to the generosity of The Julia Burke Foundation, all are welcome to participate, no NSDA membership required. These are ideal practice sessions for speech and debate students who want to build their confidence in competing while also receiving real feedback from judges across the nation.
