Anyone who has ever attended a Broadway show has had the experience of the fundraising ask from a cast member(s) for the benefit of Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS. We are given a brief description of the life-saving work of Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS and are gently asked to contribute to the red bucket volunteers on the way out of theaters along the great white way. As we drop a five, ten or a twenty on the way out we hope it eases someone’s pain or helps someone’s quality of life.
From 5PM - 6PM EST, The Inception Group at Morgan Stanley will host an NGLCCNY Financial Education Session discussing Financial Planning for the LGBT Community. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
