From Aurora to Santa Ana
After 7-plus years of kickin it with at-risk youth in Aurora, we're taking the 3T show on the road! Last month, 4 of our staff moved cross country to Santa Ana, California. We've been working for more than two years with partners in the Santa Ana area, and we're beyond excited to impact at-risk youth on the West Coast!

Hard to say Goodbye; excited to say Hello! More than 7 years ago, my wife and I had this crazy dream that we were supposed to start an organization dedicated to helping people. It was a crazy leap of faith, but we felt compelled to help create a bridge between those with resources and the under-resourced. Building a space that would encourage fun, laughter, love and positive relationships to impact everyone involved. Triple Threat isn’t just an organization, it’s a family. And like a healthy family, we’re growing! After starting in Aurora and expanding to Chicago, we've reached more than 22,000 at-risk youth through our programs and events and had over 2,000 volunteers get involved...Badaboom! We’ve been blessed with such an amazing staff, volunteers, board and partners…3T has been a life-changing experience. And not just for me. And so the family grows! In the last few months, five of our staff -- myself included -- took another leap of faith to expand the passion….the fun… and the impact to Santa Ana & Los Angeles, California. We’re so pumped to connect and work with thousands of kids and volunteers here and continue to change lives on the West Coast!

Same Mission. A New Approach
At Triple Threat, we only kick it with kids. Right?
Wrong!
Recently, we've tweaked some of our programming for youth and turned it into a big, bad, teambuilding extravaganza for adults. Schweet! One of our first showcases of our Build-A-Bot series went down in January. Through a partnership with Nike and NYC's Department of Youth and & Community Development, our 3T staff trained more than 300 youth basketball coaches in areas of strategy, communication and teamwork.
The experience must have been a hit, as our crew will be back at it again to build a similar experience for more than 3,000 youth later this month!

Your passion is meant to be shared!
It's that time of the year -- we've got our game faces on! Our passion-based programs at 3T are quickly approaching, and we're looking for volunteers.
What's it like volunteering at Triple Threat? Think of it like this: It's doing the thing you love most, but sharing it with at-risk youth. So.... yeah... kinda awesome!

One last push for Tre!
We asked for your help, and you guys delivered! We've nearly hit our goal to get a new van for Tre, a close 3T friend and gunshot victim.Now, we just need a little bump to reach our goal!
Thanks to 130 generous donors of our Indiegogo campaign, we raised (after fees) about $17,500 of our $25,000 goal. We’re almost there! Please help us raise the remaining $7,500 for Tre so we can hook him up with a new wheelchair accessible van.
