Arctic blast affects thousands of travelers, including UTA President Jennifer Cowley: President Cowley appeared on FOX4's "Arctic Blast" segment on Friday evening as the winter storm started to bear down on the area. She talked about her flight to Mumbai, India, where she was traveling on University business. She said any delay for a flight that takes nearly 19 hours is a big deal because she will only be in India for four days. Her flight was scheduled to leave Saturday, but was moved up to Friday night to beat the freeze. "When the weather forecast came out, it started making us nervous," President Cowley said.
