Executive Budget Call to Action
Families, people we support and agency supporters are encouraged to spread this message: Tell Governor Hochul that the State must invest in the Workforce and System of Supports for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the soon to be released 2023-24 Executive Budget proposal. We need sustained investment in our field in order to recruit and retain direct support professionals and other critical direct care staff. The New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation created a simple, one-click tool that makes it easy to spread the word.
