Mulyana’s Environmental Tapestries Join us for an evening of art, conversation and inspiration as the Charles B. Wang Center celebrates Yarnscapes: Mulyana’s Environmental Tapestries on Friday, September 13, from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Skylight Gallery. The exhibition explores the imaginative and intricate world of the Indonesian artist Mulyana. Renowned for his distinctive use of knitting and crocheting, Mulyana crafts large-scale installations that showcase human endurance, creativity, and a profound connection to the divine and nature.

Stony Brook Celebrates Climate Week NYC Stony Brook University will be celebrating Climate Week NYC — the largest annual climate event of its kind — from September 17-24.

Broadway's Brightest Star makes her debut at the Staller Center! Tony Award-winning actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry, renowned for her role in Hamilton as well as The Color Purple, The Lion King, and RENT, is coming to Staller on Saturday, September 21. CommUniversity Day Join us on Saturday, September 28 for the inaugural CommUniversity Day LEGO competition. We invite all LEGO enthusiasts to build a LEGO creation that exemplifies their vision of community. The competition will be judged by Interim President Richard McCormick, Provost Carl Lejuez, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Dean David Wrobel, the owner of Bricks and MiniFigs Rachel Joffe, and Council Member Jonathan Kornreich.
