In order to support researchers that have undergone a critical life event (such as the birth of a child or caring for a family member), or who would like to gain new specialized skills for career advancement, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) offer several types of administrative supplements: Research Continuity and Retention Supplements and Research Supplements to Promote Re-Entry, Re-integration into, and Re-training in Health-Related Research Careers.
This RCCN webinar will feature a presentation from Laura Major who will give an overview of these lesser-known opportunities, and share information on eligibility, how to apply, and what to expect from the application and review process. This webinar may be of interest to early and mid-career researchers who are eligible for these opportunities, as well as senior researchers who are mentoring early-career researchers. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
