» Cold Shoulders: The Ice Bucket Challenge continues to raise money and awareness for ALS in the country community and everywhere else. Some of the latest artists to take the plunge include Keith UrbanLuke BryanBlake Shelton and Florida Georgia Line, who accepted their challenge onstage during their show in Sedalia, MO. FGL in turn challenged Garth Brooks, SiriusXM's Storme Warren and the head of their record label, Scott Borchetta. Follow the continuing ice-down by searching #IceBucketChallenge or here.

» Peach Combing: We knew it was likely to happen. Three shows in Atlanta just aren't enough to meet the demand for the g-man! Garth Brooks has added two more concerts – a 10:30pm show Sept. 20 and a 7:30pm show Sept. 21, bringing his Philips Arena show count to five. Brooks as been working closely with Ticketmaster to prevent scalping. "I couldn't ask for a better partner," he said. "Ticketmaster's scalper screening system is a wonderful idea...with that said, all I saw were tickets on every scalping site and the people that just wanted to come to the show could not get in. The folks at Ticketmaster were totally devoted to achieving our mutual goal ....that the on sale this Saturday runs faster and creates an easier process for people who want to come to the show." Want tickets? They go on sale Aug. 16 at 9am ET and there's a six ticket limit per purchase. You can get them here or by calling 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express (1-866-448-7849). Don't forget, you can't buy tickets at the venue box office or at Ticketmaster outlets on Aug. 16.

But now he's taken it one step further with "Luke Bryan's Crash My Playa." "We initially talked about an event that would bring our fellow artists together for a concert and the beach," said Bryan, "and then it just kept growing. Now it looks like we're going to Mexico!" The four-day, all-inclusive vacation package is at Barceló Riviera Maya on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico Jan. 23-27, 2015. » Tee-Off In A Tutu: No, that isn't Eric Church in a pink tutu -- it's Church's head set carpenter for his tours, Michael Todd Stembridge. Stembridge, along with members of Church's band, created a golf tournament three years ago which benefits the charity MusiCares. Last Monday (8/4) they held the Third Annual Eric Church Band Put A Club In My Hand Golf Tournament at Gaylord Springs Golf Links in Nashville. Why the tutu? "We have lots of fun games and course happenings," explains Stembridge. "At one hole, each team can tee off from the women's tees for $20 per team. But you have to wear a pink tutu."
Proving that real men wear pink, Stembridge and the band raised $112,864 for MusiCares. The event boasted 160 registered golfers and featured a silent auction with items donated by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and others. More than $275,000 has been raised in the event's three-year history.
