2022 Poster Design Contest

Member students are invited to submit a poster for the 2022 National Speech and Debate Education Day Poster Contest! The winning poster will be included in celebratory toolkits sent to teams across the country and available to download from the NSDA website. Submit your poster now! The contest closes on November 19.

Student Scholarship Opportunity

Seniors, consider applying for the inaugural Keith West Memorial Student Scholarships. Four seniors will be selected to receive a $1,000 college scholarship in memory of Keith West. Winning students will demonstrate a commitment to speech and debate, academics, and the NSDA Honor Code. Stay tuned—applications open on November 1.

Performance Breakdown: Crafting a Duo Interp

Pull back the curtain on the process of putting together a Duo from start to finish in this NSDA Learn course. Through script notation, video, and narration, 2019 Duo finalists Ethan Gambriel and Tyler Simpson share the story behind the cutting, blocking, practicing, and performing of their piece, A Tiny Miracle With a Fiberoptic Unicorn.
