2021 Online National Tournament

We notified coaches yesterday that the 2021 high school and middle school Nationals will be held online given the ongoing pandemic. We also announced expanded access to the tournament this year through supplemental events. Every day bears out the importance of teaching speech and debate at our schools. The National Tournament offers students an unparalleled platform to share their stories and speak up on the issues they care about, and we are committed to giving students that opportunity through an online event. More information will be available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here are a few key dates to keep in mind for high school and middle school.
  • February 15: Tournament details and the tournament manual are released online.
  • March 1: Tournament registration opens.
  • May 1: Tournament registration closes.
