Human Trafficking, Then & Now: New Directions & Approaches to Exploitation
Associate Dean for Equity & Inclusion Kathleen Kim, RISE Clinic Director Stephanie Richard and Sunita Jain Anti-Trafficking Policy Initiative Policy Director Sabrina Talukder will present at the Boston University School of Law's Public Interest Law Journal Symposium addressing human trafficking. The symposium summary states that "defining the scope is difficult, in part due to the underground nature of the problem and the fear that many survivors face. Many survivors do not self-identify. Moreover, legal and social service professionals, often uniquely positioned to engage with survivors, fail to effectively identify potential survivors." RSVP>>

- LLS COVID Dashboard: The LLS COVID Dashboard has been updated to include cluster counts since the start of COVID. The dashboard continues to list statistics on LLS community members who are currently isolated or quarantined based on university records of lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases for individuals who have been on the LLS campus or participated in an approved LLS activity during their infectious period.
- Boosters: Eligible community members are required to obtain their COVID-19 booster within one month of eligibility. Upload your booster record in VaxLMU using your phone or tablet.
- Testing: Members of the campus community are advised to get retested within one week of their return to campus for the spring semester. And all members of the campus community are strongly encouraged to test weekly. This helps ensure the health and safety of all on our campus and all LMU campuses. The LLS COVID Testing Center is open with appointments required.
- Masks are required to be worn at all times in all indoor public spaces of the LLS campus. Students, faculty and staff should wear surgical or medical grade masks while on campus. LLS Campus Community members may obtain masks meeting these criteria at the Information Center, Career Development Office, Office of Student Affairs and William M. Rains Library. Library patrons will receive warnings for not masking, with three warnings resulting in loss of privileges.
- Updated isolation/quarantine guidelines are available.
