Cookbook Club: Potluck dinner at the library!

All welcome!

We finally get to break bread in person!  July 15, 6PM.
You do not need to have attended the club before to start now. We welcome all library foodies.

The library will provide drinks (lemonade, iced tea) and everyone is asked to bring either a main dish, side or dessert, a plate and cutlery for each (there will be a washing up stand) and a chair if they like. Of course, there will be hot-off-the-presses 2021 Cookbooks to check out.

Please RSVP to Janette and let her know which kind of dish you are bringing so we don’t end up with all desserts!

In-Person
Storytimes are back!
Best for ages 0-2
Wednesdays, 10 - 11 am
As children acquire language skills and concepts, we strive to incorporate those skills and concepts into many fun topics and socially supportive lessons. While we do want our children to be exposed to literacy topics and concepts, it is also very important to understand the developmental milestones our children meet. In addition, we provide time for free play and exploration. This is a holistic approach to educating children in a safe, fun and engaging environment.
Storytime for children ages 2 to 5 years.
Thursdays, 10 - 11 am
This is a fun storytime based around the love of books and leisure. Designed for children who are able to hold focus on a story (at least for a bit!) we will hear some wonderful stories both classic and contemporary, usually outside, weather permitting. This storytime will include an activity or craft, depending on the theme and general capacity of the group. Think of it as a flex session in that we will be adapting to the group and addressing age appropriate skills, interests, and abilities.
