UMSL Students Flourish: Receive Awards, Honors, and Leadership Positions at Optometry's Meeting
In UMSL’s 37-year history it is very likely that UMSL pride has never been more evident than it was June 21 – 25 in Washington, D.C. at Optometry’s Meeting where they dominated the honors awarded to students and won the respect of the 2300 students nationwide who were in attendance.

The Class of Personality are Honored in a Beautiful Graduation Ceremony
On Friday, May 12th, the Class of 2017 was honored with the conferring of their Doctor of Optometry degree in a beautiful ceremony, held at the signature facility on the UMSL campus, the beautiful Touhill Performing Arts Center.  see more

One of the first memories I (Ed Bennett) had as a new faculty member at UMSL in August, 1982 was seeing work study student Scott Haugen (’84) carrying boxes from one room to another which – to me – was symbolic of how the initial entering class, the Class of 1984, essentially helped to build the College.    see more

On May 19th, a beautiful Friday afternoon, 41 future optometrists formally received their white coat, significant by virtue of the fact that they now have clinical privileges allowing them the ability to provide direct patient care.  see more
