Dear Students,
I am writing to provide you with an update on course scheduling as we all prepare for the Fall semester. Our top priority is to ensure you have an excellent education in a safe living and learning environment. Like most colleges and universities throughout the country, we are making temporary, but necessary, adjustments to protect our campus community. As I informed you last month, we are modifying how we conduct classes, and some of these modifications require us to change your schedule.
The process of adjusting course registrations is underway, and you may notice changes in your schedule throughout July. Our team will notify you by email as soon as these changes are complete so you can review and adjust your course schedule before classes begin on August 24.
We will deliver courses, through all majors and programs, in various modalities. Those modalities range from on-campus interactions with modified seating, to hybrid personalized instruction with alternate activities and attendance rotations, to online courses. Your schedule may include a mix of these modalities for the Fall semester.
You may direct questions or concerns about any adjustments in your schedule to your advisor. You can look up your advisor by following step-by-step instructions on the Academic Advising website.
Thank you for your patience as we respond to the current situation. We recognize that these adjustments, although temporary, may cause uncertainty for you, and we will help you through it. Throughout campus, we are working to create the best path forward for you and your professors as quickly as we can.
Your and our wellbeing is of paramount importance. Thank you for doing your part. We are very much looking forward to seeing you in August.
