This guide provides faculty, staff, and departments with actionable recommendations to make environmentally responsible purchasing decisions. Join our information session March 3 at 2:00 p.m. to learn more about the guide and how to implement sustainable purchasing in your role.

Energy Use Intensity (EUI) is the U.S. Department of Energy's recommended benchmark for building energy performance. EUI is calculated by normalizing energy consumption by square footage, allowing buildings of different sizes to be compared. Since 2010, Georgia Tech's average EUI has decreased from 146 to 105 due to energy efficiency and conservation projects.
