American Cancer Society – HEALED Gold Medal Initiative |
|
|
The American Cancer Society has released a new RFA, the HEALED Gold Medal initiative, to support research that seeks to better understand the effects of mind-body-spirit wellness, increase adoption of healthy behaviors, and more effectively implement well-being interventions for cancer survivors (defined from the date of diagnosis through the end of life).
This RFA supports Research Scholar Grants ($215k/yr direct costs for 4 years), as well as mentored grants (Postdoctoral Fellowships and Clinician Scientist Development). RSG applicants for the HEALED Gold Medal initiative may be at any stage of career.

Postdoc Opportunity: University of Arizona's T32 Training Program in Cancer Prevention and Control |

|
This NCI-funded T32 Cancer Prevention and Control Health Disparities Training Program offers a multi-disciplinary mentored environment to increase our understanding of cancer prevention and increasing quality of life for survivors. The program includes an important focus on cancer health disparities in underserved populations and in increasing the numbers of scientists from under-represented backgrounds.
Applications are now being accepted for positions starting after July 1, 2023.
