Awards for Outstanding Freshman Essay, Outstanding Writing Program Instructor and Outstanding Writing Center Consultant showcase how student talent results in more than just a grade. The thrill of ringing the bell

After graduating and ringing the Kendall Bell for the first time in 1949, Frank Riesinger came back to campus 70 years later in 2019 to ring it again. After serving in World War II, he went on to own a jewelry store and retire with a uniquely Tulsan newspaper collection.
