PROGRAMS & EVENTS
Mother's Day at Maryhill
Sunday, May 12 | all day

Explore Maryhill’s treasures with mom. From the couture attire of the Théâtre de la Mode exhibition, to dreamy Art Nouveau glass and artifacts from Queen Marie’s personal collection, she’s sure to be delighted. This season’s special exhibitions include works on paper and still life paintings from the museum’s collection. All mothers receive FREE admission on Mother’s Day and a free mimosa (or other choice of drink) with lunch orders at Loïe’s Café.
Members' Appreciation Day
Saturday, May 18 | all day

We love our members and this is the day we celebrate them! It's also International Museum Day - a very fitting time to thank you for all you do to support Maryhill.
There's a lot going on, and we invite you to come out and explore. Drive the historic Maryhill Loops Road or take special guided tours of our garden, galleries and ranchlands. Want to learn more about how to care for your own collections? We've got you covered with a special presentation on that topic, led by our collections manager Anna Goodwin.
We will also dedicate our Westside Landscaping project and hold a meeting of the membership where you can learn about the many wonderful things happening at Maryhill

At the end of the day, join us in the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust Education Center for root beer floats, nibbles and wine from Maryhill Winery.

July 22-26 | 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. dail
Storytelling is central to human experience – it’s how we explain and make sense of the world. This year discover the power of stories at Maryhill’s Summer Art Institute. This five-day intensive program will strengthen your knowledge of art while giving you strategies for using art as an effective mechanism for storytelling in the classroom. We will explore the art of print-making and book-making as a means to create visual stories and dip into storytelling in the performing arts. The Institute is led by Maryhill’s executive director, Colleen Schafroth, and features guest artists and presenters throughout the week. Extracurricular activities can include visits to artist’s studios and regional institutions.

Cost: $195 members / $215 non-members; to register use our convenient online form.
