| Procedure reminder from the Leaders Association
|
We would like to remind you of a few housekeeping things when submitting income/expense forms to the Washington County Leader's Association:

Please ensure that you are using the correct account numbers (including the I's and E's). If it is an income there should be an "I" following the number and if it is an expense there should be an "E" following the number. See WCLA Accounting Reference Codes
- Please ensure that when you are submitting an expense (regardless of the amount) you are getting the project leader or appropriate activity leader's signature for approval. We are able to accept emails in lieu of the signature, but you will need to print out that approval email and attach it to the form with your submission.

Please ensure forms are submitted for all income and expenses that are submitted. We should not be receiving checks or cash without forms. We should not be receiving expense receipts without forms. If you need forms, they are available on the 4-H website under "volunteer resources"
- Please ensure that there are NO personal expenses submitted on receipts that have 4-H expenses on them. This causes significant confusion as there are usually math errors and in addition we should not be using the 4-H tax exempt status for personal expenses.
- Note that we will not reimburse tax if the exemption is not used.

If these procedures are not followed, it may result in a delay of your submission being processed.
