As of 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25, we learned that St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, NC, announced its permanent closure, effective May 5, 2025.
For more than 30 years, we have leased horses from St. Andrews for Camp Seafarer’s Horseback Riding program. With their closure, we regret to share that we must cancel all Horseback Riding programs at Camp Seafarer for Summer 2025. Options to resume the Horseback Riding program in future summers will certainly be explored.
As a result of this change, your $50 Horseback Riding deposit will be refunded in the coming days, and the remaining Horseback Riding program fee will not be charged on May 1 as originally scheduled.
