Golden laurels
Art history and anthropology major Piper Prolago has been named a Global Winner in the annual Global Undergraduate Awards for an essay she wrote about a Mughal image of the Prophet Muhammad's Night Journey. "This honor makes me really proud of the work I've done," said Prolago, who also serves as the editor-in-chief of The Collegian. "It also speaks to the excellence of TU's art history faculty and their creation of opportunities for students to produce original scholarship."

Defying gravity
Andy and Misty Cannon are enjoying rewarding, fast-paced careers as emergency flight nurses. As if the demands of that high-pressure work and parenting four children were not enough, Andy recently embarked on the final year of TU's doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program, while his wife, Misty, has just begun her first DNP semester. Both of these energetic health professionals chose to pursue the DNP's adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner pathway.
