We are seeking volunteers to join us in Washington, DC this March. Volunteer groups are welcome including groups from your organization (ask your company if it has a volunteer program!), school, church, alumni association, senior center and more! Dr. Serena McCalla – From coaching her students at Jericho High School to championships at renowned international science fairs, to being featured in Sundance Film Festival’s award-winning documentary, Science Fair, Serena shares her secrets for guiding young learners in science fair pursuits.
Dr. Irwin Adam – Imagine eating your favorite foods – from ice cream, to delicious meats and fish, and fruits -- that take your palate to a new level of savory experiences! That is the work of this creative scientist and food futurist who is using the power of technology to create multi-sensorial culinary experiences that are changing the way we taste and interact on all levels with food.
Amy Kukulya – A Research Engineer at the renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is known for her expertise in leading expeditions and developing science applications for the world’s most sophisticated autonomous underwater vehicles that study and explore the ocean depths. 
Hannah Herbst – She’s been called a scientific genius, but this 18-year-old innovator wowed the scientific world at age 14 when she invented a small turbine that produces energy from ocean currents. Now discover what is next for her as she explores new frontiers in biomedicine and sustainability.

Zack Lemann 
– This entomologist is a curator at the renowned Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium in New Orleans, but is also known as the “Bug Chef” for his penchant for exploring insects for their culinary and nutritional value.
