AI Tools to Model Consumer Behavior
|
Trustee Emeritus Jeremy Korst ’97 recently co-authored an article in the Harvard Business Review titled "The AI Tools That Are Transforming Market Research." The article discusses how AI tools are reducing the time and cost of traditional research by simulating consumer behavior.
"[Now] is the time for companies to start experimenting and testing possible use cases to understand how LLMs and synthetic data can augment and enhance their decision-making," Korst and his co-authors write.

Nine outstanding Logger scholar-athletes representing the men's and women's soccer teams were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. The CSC recognizes players who carry a 3.5 GPA while playing in 90% of games throughout the year. This year's nominees are Shea Ansell ’26, Connor Barnes ’26, Kody Carmel ’26, Luke Mamiya ’28, Owen Pschigoda ’28, Sebastian Telles ’27, Hayden Goodman ’28, Zoe Witter ’27, and Mazy Wright ’27.

Last week, the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity hosted a traditional basket-weaving workshop with Master of Arts in Teaching students. Members of the Puyallup and Nisqually tribes taught students indigenous weaving techniques using cedar fibers.
