Research from the lab of Jason Rohr and collaborators published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, demonstrated significant findings about when to target interventions that control the spread of the tropical disease schistosomiasis. Read more

EIGH Hosts Virtual Global Health Case Competition

Seven teams participated in the 6th Annual Notre Dame Global Health Case Competition. ND students from many disciplines developed solutions to the problem of lead exposure in the Maharashtra state of India. Read more

MSGH Class of 2021
To celebrate the accomplishments of the Master of Science in Global Health (MSGH) Class of 2021, several commencement activities were held last weekend to showcase the graduates. The Art + Science Fair allowed the graduates to present findings from their Capstone Research Projects before coming together with family, friends, faculty, and staff at the Commencement Dinner. Saturday's ceremony and reception included a commencement address from Dr. Terrie Taylor, University Distinguished Professor of Tropical Medicine at Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Q&A with Kayla Holland

Holland, an alumna of the MSGH program, discusses how she originally became interested in global health, her transformative experience completing her capstone research project, and her future plans to subspecialize in palliative care. George B. Craig
Even as a young man, George Craig loved learning about mosquitoes. Over his lifetime he became a world-renowned entomologist whose dedication to fighting disease inspired a generation of scientists. Read more
