Nashville, Tenn, (November 21, 2025) – Origins Music Group hosted its second annual Origins Impact Awards before a standing-room-only audience at The Cowan event space in Nashville last night. The show was hosted by Justin Lee Williams, internationally renowned line dance instructor, and emcee’d by journalist Marcus K. Dowling. The two-hour show  — known as the musical, community and cultural event of the year — honored country music’s expanding sound through performances, tributes and activations.

The Origins Impact Awards was the brainchild of Origins Music Group Co-Founders, Corey Jones (CEO) and Stephen Miller II (COO), who saw an opportunity to spotlight artists and community members making a marked difference in the country music space.

Jones says, “We started the Impact Awards to celebrate innovators, creatives, supporters and champions who make Nashville’s music scene tick. We wanted to point to the people pushing boundaries creatively and culturally; the ones doing the work not often seen until it reaches critical mass. We wanted to point to the people making change and thinking outside the box in every way and we’re so proud of what that’s become in our second year of producing this show.”

Miller adds, “Our honorees are rewriting the rules, uplifting their communities and defining the future of country music. This is exactly why the Origins Impact Awards exists, to celebrate those leading the charge. We’re proud of what this has become, of our winners, nominees and community at large and look forward to hosting this again next year!”

A portion of the proceeds earned from the Origins Impact Awards ticket sales go to fund the Origins Music Impact, a 501(c)(3) created to recognize the growing challenges faced by artists in the music industry. As the landscape evolves, many talented musicians struggle to gain traction, tour, and develop their artistry. Major labels, grappling with their own limitations, have shifted focus away from artist development, leaving countless aspiring musicians without the support they desperately need.

Jones says, “We understand that pursuing a career in music is not just about talent; it’s about overcoming obstacles. From the difficulties of securing housing to the complexities of organizing live performances, merchandise sales, and writers' camps, the path for artists can often feel insurmountable. That's why we exist. Our mission is to bridge the gap and empower artists by providing essential resources and opportunities. Through our platform, Origins Music Group, we offer innovative programming such as Origins Sessions, Origins Uncut, and our flagship event, the Origins Impact Awards. These initiatives are designed to spotlight emerging talent, foster community, and generate critical funding for the work that needs to be done in our industry.

The generous support of our sponsors plays a vital role in our efforts. Their contributions enable us to make a tangible impact on the lives of artists, helping them to flourish in their craft and reach their full potential. Together, we are moving the needle toward a more supportive and sustainable music industry for all. Join us in our mission to uplift and empower the voices that deserve to be heard.” More information on how to become an Origins Music Impact sponsor is available HERE
